How we screen

Every caregiver earns the Olive Angel name

Families trust us with the people they love most. Here's what every team member completes before their first visit — and what we expect after.

Application & in-person interview

We look for experience, reliability, and real warmth — the "would we trust you with our own parent?" test.

Background check & references

Criminal background screening and reference checks on every hire, with license and certification verification for clinical roles.

Health & safety clearance

TB screening and current CPR/first-aid where required for the role.

Competency check & orientation

Skills validation, HIPAA and client-rights training, infection control, and emergency procedures before any client contact.

Nurse supervision & ongoing training

Clinical care is overseen by a registered nurse, with continuing education and regular check-ins throughout the year.
